Our client is an international retail chain that is among the leading companies in Poland. Due to the company’s ongoing development plans and the necessity to ensure the highest standards in the financial area, we are looking for:
Chief Financial Officer
(f/m, Warsaw/hybrid)
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives and market dynamics.
- Oversee all aspects of finance, including property management, legal, internal audit, IT, FP&A, and business development support.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee all property-related activities, including tenant management and lease agreements.
- Manage the legal team and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal audit functions to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
- Streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to finance, ensuring the financial team meets and exceeds targets.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure cohesive execution of financial plans and alignment with broader business goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within finance, preferably in the retail industry, with a proven track record of managing complex financial operations and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in managing end-to-end financial processes, including: property, legal, internal audit, IT, FP&A, and business development support.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- High cognitive ability to manage complex tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
