Our client is a private investment firm making direct private equity and mezzanine investments. The company employs both investment and operational professionals with significant career accomplishments. The fund is focused on long-term value creation. We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate who, together with a Managing Partner, will work on current and future investments.

Responsibilities:
- Initiating contacts with potential target industries, generating investment ideas
- Portfolio monitoring
- Managing some aspect of a transaction process (financial modelling, analysis)
- Close cooperation and supervision of M&A advisers
- Collaborating with C-level management on achieving business objectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years relevant business experience (PE, M&A, consulting)
- Capable of assuming high degree of responsibility for managing selected aspects of transactions process supported by track record of working on several transactions through DD stage:
- Overall process management, interaction with own advisers and (selectively) with sellers M&A advisers
- Full responsibility for financial modelling and structured research/analysis (including identification/interviews with industry experts)
- Intellectual contribution to building investment case and identification of key risks
- Capable of supporting origination effort with the objective to assume broader responsibility within next 18-24 months:
- generation of proprietary investment ideas based on top down analysis/research of target industries
- assisting networking within target industries (potential targets, management, experts and advisers) and with M&A advisors
